I have a frustrating situation where RBIL creates a malformed link -- but just to one single page on my site! The problem page is literally a Page, as opposed to a Post, and I think that's the root of the bug. I have added the Page.ly MultiEdit plugin, which creates multiple editing zones from custom fields. Using CSS, I have created a three column design with editable sidebar content coming from custom fields.</p> <p>Unfortunately, the RB Internal Links short code does not render from the sidebars, although it continues to work in the main content area. I saw your answer in another post suggesting that it was possible to run custom fields through a short code renderer. </p> <p>I attempted to make this work by adding the short code PHP function to the page template. When that failed, I tried adding the do_shortcode function to my functions.php file. Neither of these solutions worked. I tried various code arrangements. Some did nothing, while others triggered the "Incorrect shortcode for RB Internal Links" error message.</p> <p>Obviously, my code is not interacting with RB Internal Links properly. </p> <p>Could you suggest how to run the custom fields through the rendering mechanism?
