Britain is a place that is rife with traditions and legends, so it is little wonder that the tradition of the white wedding dress was started by the English Monarchy. It was the wedding of Queen Victoria that spawned the interest and popularity of white wedding dresses as we know them today.Queen Victoria married Albert of Saxe in 1840, and wore what would then have been considered a flamboyant white gown. Of course, this did not start the tradition immediately; however, many women saw this as a statement of class and style, and copied the Queen by also getting married in white. The empire waist dress in those days had nothing to do with being virtuous -- it was all about wealth. Getting married in a white, extravagant gown was a sign that you could afford to buy a dress that you would never be able to wear again because of its style and colour (whites were not easy to clean in those days as they are today!).We are professional Wedding Dresses manufacturer & supplier and supply wholesale Fashion Wedding Dresses.

I upgraded to WP 3+ and added a skin to Thesis and now RB Internal Links only shows a blank popup.

I inspected the element and found that it was making a request that couldn't be complete:

Hi,

Great work - love this plugin and the way it stores links free of URL's so that you can easily migrate sites.

I think I may have found a little error in your latest code.

When I run the latest version of RB Internal Links in a WP Multisite setup the plugin shows me a "RB Tests" custom post type. It's possible that this only happens for Multisite Superusers.

Can this be removed from the plugin?

Thanks

Hi there, I can't tell how the pages are ordered in the linker? I use the My Page Order plugin and I kind of assumed that (since wp_nav_menu) follows that order, rb links would too.

Any clues?

Hi! I have a frustrating situation where RBIL creates a malformed link -- but just to one single page on my site! The problem page is literally a Page, as opposed to a Post, and I think that's the root of the bug. As a page, the link should follow the hierarchy of its parents: i.e: http://site.net/grandparent/parent/page/. RBIL does this perfectly on all my site's pages except for the problem page, links to which it renders like this: http://site.net/2010/07/problempage/ . I think for some reason RBIL believes the page is a post, because the bad link resembles the Permalinks structure I have chosen for posts ("Month and name"). I have tried numerous times to re-input an RBIL link to this page to no avail. Manually inserting a regular HTML link works properly, but I'd like to be about to count on managing links site-wide via RBIL. I just last week updated the site to WP 3.0.1; I think the link was functioning before that. When I look at the wp_posts table in phpMyAdmin, the page has a "post_type" of "page." So I'm stumped. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi, RB Internal Links is working great on two sites, one running WP 3.01 and another under WP 2.84. Can't say enough about how good this plugin is.

However, one of my clients needs an advanced CMS solution that will allow them to edit sidebar text as well as the main content area. I have added the Page.ly MultiEdit plugin, which creates multiple editing zones from custom fields. Using CSS, I have created a three column design with editable sidebar content coming from custom fields.

Unfortunately, the RB Internal Links short code does not render from the sidebars, although it continues to work in the main content area. I saw your answer in another post suggesting that it was possible to run custom fields through a short code renderer.

I attempted to make this work by adding the short code PHP function to the page template. When that failed, I tried adding the do_shortcode function to my functions.php file. Neither of these solutions worked. I tried various code arrangements. Some did nothing, while others triggered the "Incorrect shortcode for RB Internal Links" error message.

Obviously, my code is not interacting with RB Internal Links properly.

Could you suggest how to run the custom fields through the rendering mechanism? I realize this is a special case, but I am confident that there are many other users who want the CMS functionality of MultiEdit with the internal linking of RB Internal Links.

Regards, Tom

Hello,

Great plug-in, I absolutely love it!

BUT.

One of my blogs is in Cyrillic, using Unicode. When I am choosing a page through this plugin, instead of the Cyrillic names I see the unicode text, e.g.

Об Авторе

I'd rather like to see what it should really read :)

So, I'd ask you to update this plugin, to check the blog's WP properties. If it is configured with Unicode, then to treat the posts' and pages' titles as they are Unicode'd.

Thank you!

Hi,

I needed few internal links in my upcoming blog and I found this plugin. First of all, I'd like to thank you for having the time to make it so that it can help a lot of us, WordPress users. Although I found the plugin very useful, there were few issues that I'd fix in it myself.

1st Issue

One thing I noticed missing from the plugin was the ability to add additional url parameters to the links. The blog I'm currently working on will have multiple subpages inside one article and I had the need to link to anchor sections on other subpages of the same article.

This issue really didn't drop to the "Feature request" category since I fixed this issue by myself. If you would like to take advantage of my changes in the code, the modified version of the plugin can be downloaded from:
http://share.hugesolutions.fi/wordpress/rb-internal-links-2.0.12-modification.zip

Additions:
- Parameter that allows to add subpage number to the link to be created
- Parameter that allows to add more additional url-parameters to the links (in case of dynamic pages for example)
- Changed also the form with which the link can be edited to include an input box for these parameters

2nd issue

It might really be helpful for some users if the link could be edited or deleted with the "RB Internal Links" button in the editing view of a post. Now all the edits have to be done manually to the tag or by regenerating the link with the same button.

3rd Issue

A small help page or screenshot in the plugin page would really be helpful. When I first started to use the plugin, I didn't find the right button in the button menu in the TinyMCE editor. If I had seen a screenshot of it, it would've helped me a lot to get started.

im using wordpress 3.0-RC1. im having no problems with the plugin finding or browsing through content i've created, posts and pages.

the plugin can't find or navigate it's way to pages that are automatically created from images added to wordpress's media library.

it did find a page i created and inserted a wordpress generated media gallery (the built in gallery option no plugins). each image in the gallery is linked to it's own wordpress generated page. so the page urls are mysite/gallery_url/image_url.

Hi. I've been using this great plugin for over a year at my very busy local news site. Lately, we've had two database problems, resulting in 404's for all of our posts. A simple Repair Database command in WP-DB Manager fixed the problem both times, but it was pretty scary. I'm thinking the problem comes from a conflict between RB Internal Links and some other plugin, since this has happened both times since the latest update to RB Internal Links. I think there have been other plugin updates recently as well.

My Wordpress installation is not in the root of my site. It's in a directory like http://mysite/wp/. Is the plugin having a problem with this structure, all of a sudden?

Lovely plugin, much needed for wordpress (lousy internal linking!!)

I found two glitches:

1. In IE7 on PC if you highlight a word to link from, the word does not get carried through to the 'link text' box of the final stage of RB...you have to manually enter the word you highlighted again. The word is carried over fine in Camino and Firefox on Mac, which I use most of the time, but my authors are all Windoze users.

2. This may be a theme issue, but in my category archives 'featured news' the link is being displayed in full code, rather than just the word which is linked. So say the featured news is showing the first 50 words, and one of these words is actually a link using RB...it displays all the [intlink id=""] code as well as the word.

See it here: http://www.mulucaves.org/wordpress/?cat=8 and look at the Whiterock Survey Published item in the latest news box (nav through to article if need be using arrows)

But a nifty plugin, thanks!

Hugh

At WP 2.9 (I think), the facility was added to allow wp_config to be taken one level up, out of the wp installation directory. This breaks the plug-in. I changed the tiny_mce_plugin.php file to include the wp_load.php file instead, which seems to work, but I am no WP expert. My understanding is that including wp_config is now deprecated and wp-blog-header.php is possibly the substitute, and that handles wp_config being is a different place.

hi all,

after upgrading to wordpress 2.9.2 rb internal links is not working in the backend anymore.
the icon in the tmce bar disappeared and all the highlighting of the links in the backend as well.
the code is still there visible in the html mode but not in the visual mode.

the script seems to run on the frontend as the links work like expected.

it must be some issue with the tmce - does anybody have a suggestion?

i'm using the 0.22 version of the script.

thanks a lot in advance!

best, carsten

Hi, I get a grayed-out screen in the link selection popup when Flutter is activated. I've deactivated all plug-ins and tried them with RB Internal Linker one at a time; it's definitely a conflict with Flutter.

The RB Internal Linker screen comes up with the title and close box, but the center area that normally displays a list of pages, categories, posts, etc. is grayed out. I'm using Wordpress 2.9.2, Flutter 1.1, and RB Internal Links 2.0.11.

Any ideas/suggestions? This is a client site and the custom write panels are really helpful in getting them to enter content correctly, but your plugin is also so very helpful in cross-linking within the site! The two combined seemed ideal...

Hi,

Great plugin.

Initially I found that the pop-up for selecting pages/posts to link to was instead displaying the Admin banner of the site. I started disabling plugins and found that Custom Admin Branding seemed to be the culprit. Although I quite like having the branding, your plugin wins on functionality. However, it would be nice if this clash could be fixed so I can have the branding back again. Both seem to help my users.

WP 2.9.2
Custom Admin Branding 2.0

Cheers

Hi,

Everything works great except when users do a wordpress search within the blog. In all search results the short codes shows up, making it look like my sites are broken...

Any fix to this?

Thanks

i found your plugin just the other day and absolutely loved it. You have no idea (well, probably you do ;-) ) how many clienst have been asking me about this.

On testing it over various sites i stumbled upon a conflict between your Plugin an Verve Meta Boxes (http://www.avenueverve.com/verve-meta-boxes/).

Hi, I'm working on a site in development with a client of mine. We're using WP 2.9.2 and RB Internal Links 2.0.11.

I do my work on a Mac running Firefox, and when I'm editing a post or page the RB Internal Links button is visible in the editor.

However, my client who works on a Windows machine in IE7, cannot see the button in the wysiwyg editor. We've tried this on a couple of computers, with a couple of different administrative-level logins, and the problem occurs in both places.

I have a bajillion other plugins and functions, but anything I can do to help troubleshoot this, please let me know!

I´ve recently installed RB internal links but I couldn´t see anything on the plugin popup. It was blank. Just the arrows at both sides.

I was nuts trying to make this thing work on my current WP setup until I decided to deactivate all my plugins and try one by one wich could be causing the bug. I found out that this plugin: WP-Cycle by Nathan Rice was causing the error. Don´t quite know how, but I had to turn it off in order to have RB Internal links working.

Any suggestions?!!

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

PS: the website of wp-cycle is the following: http://www.nathanrice.net/plugins/wp-cycle/

First off, great plugin, same feel as Mindtouch Deki which I am used to. The internal doc selector works fine.

What just doesn't work for me though is the processing of the links (short tags). The short tags end up displaying on my site instead of actual links.

I am running 2.9.1 and have several other plugins installed, including an "External Links" plugin. Not sure if that is causing a problem.

One plugin I installed required me to add some code to the functions.php file. Does your plugin require this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
